Their last album has a special place in my heart, but listening to this felt like trudging through all hell.
What on earth were they thinking ?

just listened to this in its entirety while doing a few things on the computer and its fine for what it is imo. just sounds like all the other random ambient music you can find on youtube though

also, was anyone actually asking for this type of album? seems completely unnecessary

Doubt it. Cant remember anyone ever saying "You know what was so fuckin dope about the last album? The ambient interludes. They really need to do more of that shit"

Don’t see what was so offensive about this, but then again I’m not a fan of these guys so I guess I can see being disappointed

'Don’t see what was so offensive about this'

not so much offensive as entirely unoffensive to the point of redundancy

i feel like this album exclusively caters to galaxy brain metalcore reddit users who just want to be able to say they're into ambient music as well now, bro

goddammit like 'theme' from ILII is genuinely pretty cool.. so they can be good at this if they want to

also thanks for the feature lol, wasn't expecting one

^ honestly.

This was pointless and boring, but its nothing worth the hate the band is getting now. I mean, did anyone really expect them to drop a 12 track gazetonescore album a year after their debut?

I love this. very blade runner inspired, and overall a very impressive batch of ambient tracks from a band that doesn't even specialize in music like this.

"I mean, did anyone really expect them to drop a 12 track gazetonescore album a year after their debut?"

honestly.. kinda. like with the inability to tour and everything and the way this was (initially) promoted it would've been totally possible, expected at least a couple of new bangers
