There's often a confirmation bias around here when a positive review gets comments agreeing, and same with negative.

My comment was more of a joke like nature albeit a bad one. It is wild to me that someone who likes death metal would 1.5 that album though. That said though it's probably been many years since I've given anything less than a 2. I also normally don't even finish an album if I find it that dissatisfying either though, too much quality music out there to waste time on something you're getting nothing out of. I also rate damn near everything I dig a 4 though so maybe I'm just super positive when it comes to music idk. That said short song lengths here is what made this release for me. Enjoy the attitude on this one far more than the debut as well

Hey, no hard feelings. Actually, the hardcore element didn't put me off. While I'm not the biggest fan of that genre, I did enjoy Nails - Abandon All Life. Once I start an album, I have to finish it. I feel weird if I just turn it off. I've only done that to maybe two albums. This new EP just sounded rushed. The songs felt like there wasn't much thought given to them. That's the vibe that I got. So, a 2.0 is the equivalent to disappointing in my head.
