Doin Thangs definitely has a better cover, but this is still one of the best. Drifter have you listened to much Big Pokey? You have to hear the last song Keep My Name Out Yo Mouth on D Game 2000 it's a banger. The version of choppas on there is cool too

i love big pokey. hardest pit in the litter is a really nostalgic album for me. probably a 4.5. i found d game 2000 to be half super good and half kinda weak commercial attempts iirc. i dont remember an alternate form of choppaz but it has been like 2-3 years since i last heard it
i really love that hardest pit in the litter though man jeez. shady game especially. that album is a huge vibe great sunset shit the cover matches it perfectly
h.a.w.k.'s debut "under hawks wings" is also reallllly good too if you haven't heard that yet.

for me hardest pit is the most consistent, I don't play singles from it I just play the whole thing.
d game has higher highs and lower lows, and I play mostly singles

it's funny that he is known for Purple World because every song on this is better. Agreed drift, Big Moe brings a certain bliss and the title track is one of his hardest hitters

yeah purple world is not the best. only a few songs i really really like from it. even the best song on it (i would say Dime Piece) gets close but doesnt touch the weakest song on here though unfortunately. wonder how it would have been if he never touched a major label.
