The same exact thing happened to me with anything, forwards beckon rebound, and zombie girl. Nearly every song has revealed some layer of appreciable beauty for me, and this is way better than I ever could have imagined after my first few listens.

Melon seems to stick with his gut reactions, even if he can't then back those opinions up in such a way that it doesn't flatly contradict something he's previously said. Then again, can't be easy keeping track of everything you've said after 100s of hours over several years and staying entirely consistent.
