Oh man that is awesome! I hope it's a little more "put together" this time, but overall I am sure I will be thrilled to hear it again and again regardless. Gotta keep an open mind with Aaron and Co

Why do people expect Aaron to keep making the same music over and over again? I, for one, am glad Aaron has found out what kind of music he wants to make and not compromising his vision in the process. People just want him to keep making ISIS tunes over and over again, while complaining how "self-indulgent" his music on SUMAC or his solo endeavors can be.

Actually the last thing I would want a songwriter like Aaron to do is retread ISIS days just for the heck of it. I love his expansive catalog, I just feel when he is more deliberate is where he really excels. Listening to the single right now and I am in love.

If you are not big on ISIS but haven't given Panopticon a few full listens in a single sitting I would strongly encourage it. A year ago I thought it was just another post metal album... now its a top 5 release of all time for me.

The new single is amazing. Gotta love how they are trying new things while also still retaining their trademark sound.

Panopticon is so beautiful, it used to be my second favorite ISIS album after Oceanic, however, the former has taken the original place of the latter.

going to hold off on jamming the new song because Sumac albums are best approached (for me at least) as a complete whole
so stoked though

Yellow Dawn is pretty awesome. It has a really great build to it and has a defined structure which I really lock into. The solo at the end is balls to the wall crazy
