There is a song on this that is a guy doing albeit dope spoken word over what sounds like a guy rolling silverware around in a metal tub. That’s not groundbreaking or cool to me it’s just art school nonsense hahaha

yea that’s like putting the default apple alarm sound in your song , no one wants to hear that shit

Might have been said already, but does anyone think Say The Name sounds a lot like NIN's Closer? simple and repetitive for the majority and then it starts getting layers and transforming in the end.

man idk this was kind of a miss for me. there's some memorable shit on this but most of the noise sections are tedious and the lyrics aren't interesting enough to carry it
still good and worth it as a listening experience or whatever. i wouldn't say it's that much better than the new backxwash for example though
|
| |
there's some seriously good singles here, but as an album? yea, i'm not coming back to it any time soon.

I've only heard Midcity but I love it. What's the best next step for me in the discography?

There Existed an Addiction to Blood is the album that made me a fan. And it made me appreciate their older stuff more. So I guess I'd say start there.
