Some people have a hard-on for Resistance because in their minds it's the last good Muse album, but...yeah not really. You're honestly fine for stopping at Black Holes. Honestly you're even fine if you were to stop at Absolution.

It does it does. But as a whole album experience I wouldn't suggest it. I'd be more inclined to say, like, listen to "assassin" "knights" "city of delusion," then see if you like it from there. But that's just me.

‘Some people have a hard-on for The Resistance’

Who are these people and why do they exist? That can’t be right.

You'd be suprised. Some people really be out here stanning that album. Maybe it's enough of an offbeat opinion to make you stand out or something, idk.

These guys used to be my favourite band and even I realised it sucked, that’s when they started ‘losing me’. I do remember enjoying a couple of the tracks but my word did the production completely neuter the riffs.

Black Holes is solid imo - couple of duds but every album after that went mostly duds and couple of good ones (perhaps)

Think their best is behind them, not sure if they've got a good album left in them

Sill amazing live though, they even make the newer material sound good. All the biggest cheers of the set came during the "best of" medley they did when I saw them last year though...

Yeah I'm really ashamed to be a Muse fan, because everyone automatically jumps to 2nd Law and new era Muse and it's really tragic. People are gonna remember them more for being hokey than anything else. I thought they were wearing the Space Rock nametag really well, but holy mother of all things fucked, how did they get to the point of simulation theory? I'll never know.
