"It sounded like a more grounded Adz, and my main issue with that album is how it had almost no restraint; it was haphazard and unenjoyable minus Impossible Soul and a few other cuts. If anything that album was crazy overindulgent and this is a more refined version where the more "out there" moments actually feel earned."

Yeah nah back on the hype train. His second best after Carrie and Lowell. I don't know where this idea of weak melodies comes from, each of these songs has been stuck in my head at least once. The fact that it could have been shaved down by a few minutes is the main sticking point and still the lyrics a bit, but I think the lyrics are clearly intentionally written this way
