I hate the 2020s.

Anyway after how packed last year was I’m happy to take a breather this year. New PJ Harvey, Acacia Strain and Caroline Polachek enough for me, and we’ve still got Kylie to look forward to!

Lol, video games are for brainlets. Sorry! Go work out, learn a practical skill or get additional employment if you have time to game.

Baldur's Gate 3, Elden Ring, Jagged Alliance 3, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Overwatch, you know, the usual.

@Butkuiss: Workout is depressive. I practice tennis, volleyball, and just started swimming. 10x more satisfying and keeps my body active enough.

No excuses, Baseline! You can’t be protecting the family homestead effectively if you’re gaming and not working out!

"At least gaming is amazing in the 2020s"

Lmao what? All with microtransactions, unfinished games, and the Ubisoft formula? This is more like the dark age of video games if anything

The only great thing are the graphics, which haven't had a huge bump after the 8th Gen imo. It seems like they are stagnating a bit with the betterment of graphics. Remember how huge the jump from PS1 to PS2 or PS2 to PS3 was? The difference between PS4 and PS5 is barely noticeable aside from resolution and fps

Elden Ring, Baldur's Gate 3, Metroid Dread, Nioh 2, Microsoft Flight Simulator, Doom Eternal, Tears of the Kingdom, Hades, Yakuza Like a Dragon, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, It Takes Two, Kirby and the Forgotten Land. And so many well-made remakes: System Shock, Final Fantasy VII, Dead Space, Resident Evil 4, Demon's Souls. All these in 3 years, and I'm ignoring so many amazing indie releases.

og RE4 > remake

In fact the og RE4 is quite easily my favorite game of all time next to the og Dead Space. The remakes of both were good I guess but didn't have the little things that made the ogs such masterpieces. (i.e sound design, atmosphere)
