Fair, I agree with you on that. AFD is a pretty dark album, Get to Heaven may be deceptively darker. They've always had a darkness to them, they balance it well with their more upbeat moments.

Seeing them for the first time next month in Birmingham, haven't been this pumped for a gig in a while! They were the soundtrack to my lockdown after rediscovering them working from home. Always found it ironic that my top song of 2020 was "Cough Cough" on Spotify.

I apologise to everyone at Birmingham last night. If anyone saw some random bloke "crowdsurfing" to Distant Past it was me, I failed miserably. It was an incredible show, and the new songs sound amazing I can't wait!

Glad it was a good one! Saw then in Leeds, one of the best shows I've ever been to. The band seem so hyped to perform again and the new songs sounds amazing, it's clear that's the stuff they've been really rehearsing and excited to play. Warm Healer and In Birdsong back to back floored me and I wasn't expecting to hear To The Blade.

New tracks are great, I loved Jennifer in particular. I think both Jennifer and Pizza Boy will probably be released as singles before the album, since we still have over a month to go

Yeah the new songs are great, they didn't kill the pace of the show either. I always feel when bands play unreleased stuff in the middle of a gig, the atmosphere hits this weird wall. But nah, they are both bangers! Good luck with your terrible crowdsurfing ChoccyPhilly! Such a fun set.

To be fair, I've been binging Love Like This, Teletype and Bad Friday these past 2 days and I'm actually stoked to hear these live too. New album is looking very promising already.
Can't believe this will be my first time seeing these guys. Although I'm no stranger to terrible crowdsurfing, I fancy my odds during Violent Sun ;]
