I recently bought this album off iTunes and honestly, I like the remastered versions of the original tracks. The instruments stand out more and it sounds cleaner overall. I don't see the problem with those.
As for the re-recorded tracks: yes, they're pretty awful. But the original versions of all of those are all included on this (albeit remastered), so I don't see the big deal honestly.

THANK you for finally killing another album. This is in line with come clarity and a sense of purpose for me in terms of genuine feeling. lyrics 10, music 10, feels 10. Guitars are singing their own songs again, that's my In Flames. album 10/10
