I still love this album. The Tempest, Old Ghosts and Cascade Locks are stellar songs. I can't rank the discography of MS (albeit Of Malice being the easy number 1) but i really do find this one worthy of such an awesome stretch of albums

Not a bad song in here for me. Even River King, which was my least favorite (outside the interlude), found new grace to my ears. The guitar playthrough of The Fall made me love the intricate guitar parts.

But it was my first MS album.

Album is cool, but really wish they expanded on the interlude tracks more. Needs more meat.

Jesse does fine on here. The real disappointment comes from how incredibly forgettable and boring and inconsistent this album is.

Revisiting this after almost 3 years and I gotta say, it's better than I remember. I think I was too hooked on the no Karl thing and expecting to hear more stuff like Controller, but hearing this and listening for what it is, it's pretty great. Not crazy good to me, but a rating bump is needed

i should rejam. i remember i was mostly let down by how little material there was on here but i still thought there were some great tunes on here. river king undeniably owns and i remember thinking closing combo ruled

Not a bad album by any means but certainly disappointing for Mis Sigs standards.

yeah when this dropped my go to phrase when bitching about this album to people was "it feels more like a dropbox of ideas for an album than a fully realized album itself" which after 7 years shouldnt really be the case lol

gonna jam it tonight tho see if my feelings have changed a bit
