I swear, some of you guys must hear the plucky indie instrumentals in insurance commercials and have your lives changed every time.

Like I said, it is basic indie folk/pop but it does everything well if nothing else. Doesn’t have to be revolutionary to be good. No need to be a buzzkill, it’s all just tswift after all

More teasing than trying to be a buzzkill tbh. You guys are perfectly entitled to having your Tswift.

I didn't take it as anything other than ribbing. Swift has always been a simple artist, but also easy to enjoy.

What is the ratio of times people have said this album will be used in commercials to times it’s actually been used in commercials? Gotta be 1000 to 1 right now

"London Boy is a bop and one of the best on Lover, how dare you"

look with all due respect it's like a bottom 5 song of the decade and I have no idea how anyone listens to it without cringeing into the next life

and somehow it's still better than that Future/Ed Sheeran collab lmfao

Hey, if we can all stop hating on LWYMMD, I'm happy to agree that London Boy and End Game are subpar. Can't bring myself to hate either though.

I will never stop hating on LWYMMD, although it seems pointless cause I'm pretty sure she made it bad on purpose

I mean reputation in general is just awful, there's maybe two songs I would listen to of my own volition

I totally get that. Before this, though, Rep is the album I saw the most as a favourite from other swifties. More so than 1989 or Speak Now. It's a beloved record in the community.
