>I disagree and would like to also see this represented by a review that is of a higher rating.

I tend to comment here instead of review. I know there are many here that like it though, so it would probably come before mine. I haven’t ruled out writing one.

I would have to brush up on my writing, since I haven’t tried it in a long time. And this is a complicated one to write about.

Her eight album is definitely her best one. She always had ability to write lyrics and now achieved a whole new level. I love the story telling thing and the big numbers of metaphors. Just a few artist has this courage to always reinvent. The songs are not commonly about relationships, as everybody loves to label. I can say she's a high quality singer and song writer also. Really impressed.

yeah and it would've been better off but it wouldn't have gotten all those spotify cents from the extra streams so it's gotta be 34 tracks long because $

I kinda like the album when it's on but then almost forgot how it goes when it's off.

that's because it's corporate pop that's painfully uninterested in whether you know that or not.

“I want you to know I’m a mirrorball” may be the worst lyric of her career.
One of the best melodies of her career though.

2020: The year when I unironically listen to a full Taylor Swift record and actually like what I'm hearing. Little bit too long-winded but consistent in quality. IMO she should stay with the indie dad rock.

So this is fucking fantastic

This is a really pleasant album, not to mention seeing Aaron’s input to majority of this album’s sounds. It’s definitely her most organic, stripped down release yet, and I like it a lot. Haven’t enjoyed an album from her since 1989, so this is nice.
Nice review btw!!! Really well done!
