basically, they don't have the money to make new stuff, even though they are toying with some ideas. some had to go back to full time jobs, it seems, just to keep the bill collectors away. heck, Joe Casey has to live at his brother's place



hope these brief tours they go on every now and then make them the funds they need. probably will buy some more of their merch to support, cause i'd hate to see something like Protomartyr disappear due to capitalism

it's also cool that they're regularly joining forces with artists in similar situation like Tyvek or Kelley Deal of The Breeders, whom they've made a full-time member now.

I can't get over how unsatisfying the transition from Day Without End to Processed by the Boys is. Day Without End feels like it's meant to explode at the end but it never does. ((
