i really liked this on first listen. second listen less so... i respect what they tried to do here, and it's a good Lamb of God album, but very little replay value, outside of a few standout songs. 3.5 seems right for now, but it's really more like a 6.5/10

Jasta feature is embarrassing, album is really boring.

it would be break scale ratings if they recorded in Tokyo dome!
meh, listening all over again. this is kinda continuation from Morton solo project + duplicate stuff from Prong (listen their album from 2014 & 2016) and several repeated riffs from Wrath.
pretty optimistic when Memento Mori comes up (i think it's going to be good).
i expected too much.
art kinda lack of improvisation and try to replicated the predecessor just like Bestial Thoseguard (if i remember that name correctly) from Soilwork for example.
never change!
5.8./10

Autopilot groove riffs, autopilot songs and none of the emotional power of the last record. Tired and forgetable stuff, easily their weakest record. Don't know if it has anything to do with the Chris Adler split but they really sound like they're running on fumes here.

A low 3.5. There's nothing terrible here but nothing overly memorable either. More Lamb of God doing the same predictible thing over and over again.

What a surprise, nothing new or exciting here at all. Fucking awful band lmao. The riffs suck cock and damn, that production is pure ass.
They knew this record would blow ass so they decided to salvage it by including Chuck on here - honestly I feel bad for Chuck on this record, guarantee you LOG begged him to join in on this.
SAD.

"Many speculate that Adler was forced out of the group for different reasons than given, and recent barbs in the metal blogisphere has added support to the idea the split was anywhere near as acrimonious as they wanted it to seem."
I'm not sure what this is trying to say. If you're saying the split was more hostile than they intended, it's either "more acrimonious than they wanted it to seem" or perhaps a different word.

Agreed with Lucca. Their last true banger was Ashes, Sacrament was a small step down and the rest is just lol - although sturm had a couple decent songs.
