I noticed that too and was talking about it with a friend last weekend. The best way to describe it is, I used to sing the riffs first and then the vocal lines hooked me. Now, I sing the vocal melodies, and the riffs are more of a rhythmic noodling in the background.

That clearly isn't a bad thing imo, just a different way of looking at their music.

I dig it, they were pushing the guitar limits on Volition to the point of being obnoxious
