Yeah don't recall a note of this aside from it gets easier which I really dig. He's so great at those little lyrical framing devices- the last night I dreamed at the start of the verse has a really natural momentum to it

The documentary HBO recently made about the making of this album (or really, the state of Isbell and Amanda Shires’ marriage during the making of this album) gave me a bit more appreciation for it, should revisit fully before the new one drops.
