This album is the reason I started to play guitar. I stole this album from my sister's boyfriend at the time, and when I put it on and I first heard "Them Bones," I knew I wanted to play guitar. This album is a classic and every song on here kicks ass. "Junkhead" is probably my favorite.

Gotta love this album.

u no wot it pisses me of tht people have to judge and argue over whos better and all this bollocks...kurt wasnt bad nirvvana wasnt bad, AIC wernt bad and niether was layne, they were both fuckin amazing people and bands, overrated and underrated is alod of crap.. how can nirvana be overated if they sold millions and have millions of fans? how can aic be underated? not underated not overated.. they are both great, weather u like them or not...ease up on the shit that people fink..

Just because Nirvana were the most popular, people hate on them. I wish that a band as good as them were in the mainstream today. They were a hell of a lot better than Pearl Jam, that's for sure.

The problem most people seem to have with Nirvana is that they've only heard Nevermind, which is their worst album. Bleach has a few blemishes (Big Cheese, Sifting, and Swap Meet) but the rest of the songs are amazing, and In Utero is a masterpiece. You just have to give every album a chance. That philosophy is why I suck at reviewing in most people's eyes - I'm too subjective.

Nothing good about them? Pardon? You don't see ANYTHING good about "Heart-Shaped Box", "Come As You Are", or "Aneurysm"? That's just unfair. So, if you think Nirvana is bad, do you consider torturing puppies when you hear Green Day or Fall Out Boy?

Nirvana generally blows, but In Utero is good

Bleach and In Utero are superior to pretty much anything AIC did, with the exception of Dirt
