Wow Omairbro! That's really cool! You're in business haha...I'm glad for you. That's something you couldn't expect from a professional you appreciate so much since a long time. You deserve it man...

Hahah thanks guys! Much appreciated. Yeah it's nice having a review I wrote casually be appreciated like that by a musician I've respected forever. Sputnik might have blossomed a new friendship haha

So we ended up on a call for like an hour, talking about music, about his grievances with the music scene there, what he's working on. Was like a music interview haha, but more candid. Very cool.

I'm thinking of suggesting to do a live music talk on FB or zoom eventually :D.

Thanks for the great words everyone! Hope you enjoy. It does require some patience for sure

@josh: are you listening to the version with male or female vocals? There are two versions, you may like the other vocalist?

Also, thanks for the feature meds!

Good stuff. I think the vocals are hard for me to get past, but the music is dope.

There's a version with female vocals. You might dig that more maybe

@Beardog: it was cool man! Very relaxed. Didn't think a review would help me get in touch but there you go haha

"@josh: are you listening to the version with male or female vocals? There are two versions, you may like the other vocalist?"
male...I think it's his sort of slurred sort of sound that isn't doing it. But I like the combo of sounds the band makes.

Man, Pakistani music and jazz fusion sounds like such a great mix. Will check this out really soon!

@Josh: Ah okay. Too much vibrato at times? That's a core feature of Pakistani classical /folk singers, so we're accustomed to it. I personally LOVE the combo, they fit so perfectly. I guess it's also different from Western jazz fusion, which makes it a bit refreshing for me at least

@wild: my first comment has youtube links if you want a primer! Enjoy :-)

Champakalli is growing A LOT on me. Love the ominous and brooding vibe. Bheem is probably still my favourite. Can't get enough of that transition at 1:30 ugghhh

I'm betting I'll come around to the male vocal stuff. I don't dislike them, just not a familiar style.

Yeah Josh, I think you might get accustomed to them once you sit with the album for a bit

This ones been a grower for me. Listened to it over 30 times now probably. Still enjoying. This came out at just the right time I guess, I'm in that zone
