Oh man, I revived this thread didn't I...

Say Hi is the song I referred as a banger in here. It made me love Jon Mess again.

Lyrics Lie is pretty good as well, also enjoy Parody Catharsis and Born to Fail a lot.

I'm a man that listens to albums from start to end but if I was into playlists those four songs would get on my DGD's.

Ps: After some things I've read I guess it's on my best interest to check Secret Band.

As per my disliking of those tracks it's quite easy to explain:

Calentamiento Global is a spit on the face of anyone who knows proper spanish and isn't horny most of the time (italo-latino here ugh), Tillian mispronounces, sounds like a Puerto Rican Chulo and his chorus and hooks just don't flow with Jon's or the instruments. Ps: If I liked reggaeton I'd listen to reggaeton not DGD.

Three Wishes is a pretty mediocre track that throws that terrible redneck Multiple Stab Wounds Yeah chorus that is really unpleasant to hear, bumping it outside of mediocrity to a straight up bad track for me.

Parallels I can't explain though, it's just bad... but taste is subjective I can see a lot of people loving these three tracks.

Parallels is fiiirre/feels relatively unique for them. i had no idea people disliked it lol

Born To Fail. Tilian kinda drags Born to Fail to the grave. not surprised people like it, but it sounds so forced to me.



Tilian's part is kinda boring in Say Hi after multiple listens but Mess goes so fucking in that it's fine

their single choices have been generally weaker these past 2 albums with the only real exception being Lyrics Lie
