its all very good. probably like it more than the OG but this was never one of my very favorite anco releases. nothing i particularly dislike here and the great tracks are transcendent but as a whole, i never dug it as much as, say, HCTI, feels, sung tongs, water curses, fall be kind, etc

Still gotta hear the main 10 tracks on the remaster but, bar Untitled #1 the bonus tracks kinda don’t seem all that significant. An an Angel is just an alternate version of Bat You’ll Fly. The two Bus Travel songs don’t do anything for me at all.

Sometimes the covers reek with old nostalgia from lovers YEEARS AGOOOO

Etc etc

yeah untitled #1 is nice but the rest of them arent really that significant. the "dreams" cover was strange to hear lmao

Can't wait to openly weep to the noise loop on Spirit They've Vanished

remaster sounds tight. little less jarring / harsh-sounding but doesn't lose too much of the lo-fi charm. imagine it'll be way easier to get into than the original

ep is a bit of a disappointment after untitled #1. don't like the dreams cover at all and would rather just listen to la rapet than as an angel

Kinda wild to me how deeply this hits, haven’t given it a spin in at least half a decade and it’s all coming back to me but fuller than I remember. Opener is such a MOOD. April, Chocolate Girl, Alvin Row top tier anco cuts. Lovely stuff : )

After hearing the alt version of la rapet and untitled #1, I was ready to 5/5 the EP, but then the rest happened.

Still good though, glad they released the first two.

Aight so I still didn’t listen to this, now that the remaster’s out should I listen to that or the OG mix when I check this

I love them both, but the new mix probably would be the one to go for.

The trade-off of losing harsher textures vs. new vividity + somehow increasing fidelity so u can hear their swishing uvulas is a fair one. I probably slightly prefer the old one, but the duo of La Rapet and Bat You'll Fly is especially good

One RYM kid said something like "i can finally understand what he's saying" which made me laugh, but there's a kernel of truth in there for sure.

Still like the original more, though.
