Coming off the great Mothership.... Artifical Selection sounded completely inferior and derivative.. really expecting no less from this.. they found a recent formula, which they are comfortable, resulting in a couple good tracks but meh albums overall..

I guess you can say that, from 2013 on, Mothership is really the only album of theirs that feels special, and I enjoy going back and listening too...
The rest sounds completely homogeneous... but thats just me.

maybe I should listen to mothership again. I don't remember anything special about that compared to any other tilian release. but honestly for me weather or not I like a DGD album is 90% based on tilian's melodies and 10% how much groove they put in the songs. And tilian missed the mark on this one

Two of my favorite DGD songs w/ Tillian aren't even on albums (Summertime Gladness and Blood Wolf). Mothership is their best work since Happiness.
Three Wishes is pretty trash [2] - sounds like a song that'd be used in TV commercials.

I love Zach Garren, but Strawberry Girls has become formulaic too. Parody Catharsis is so good though.
I think Say Hi is top track on here by a little bit over Parody Catharsis. Night Sway, One in a Million and Prisoner are up there too.
