that's as opposed to brand new, a band that i haven't listened to at all since the lacey admission.
i guess it's hypocritical of me to take this stance but i find it a lot easier to seperate brand new's music from jesse lacey than i do with smith street and wil, despite knowing the stuff jesse did was much worse.
maybe it's the fact that they're australian and i've seen them so many times but the connection with this band seems so much more personal. their music sounds so much like a vehicle for wil's voice and a lot of of what i've seen from wil makes him seem like an unbearable person in real life so i can't really deal with this band and their new music anymore. it's hard for me to believe some of these lyrics coming from him at this point is i guess what i'm trying to say.
