"was that song a hit?"

I thought everyone on the internet hated "STFU!", whereas it's awesome

saw her live a few weeks back. Incredible show and she basically played Sawayama in its entirety with an EP song or two. She played a new song that sounded incredible though. This was one of my favorites of 2020 so I'm hype

She puts on a helluva show, really glad I got to see her on this tour because I think it'll be the last time she plays venues of this size

Tunnel vision is her best song by a large margin so that’s upsetting

Catch Me In The Air was the new song! Not sure how it'll translate to record, but it was incredible live. It's a very uplifting pop-rock song love letter to her mom. It was very sweet and the crowd was loving it

oh sweet, fab - guess she'll probably drop it as a single sometime soonish, looking forward to hearing

for the benefit of pots' temper and my curiosity, how guitar-centric was her band?

she played with a live drummer and then there was another person who swapped between bass/guitar/keytar depending on what the song called for. She also had two dancers with her to keep things visually interesting.

It looks like the lead single is gonna be something else as she's teasing this whole "RINA IS GOING TO HELL" angle. I think the song leaked, but I haven't heard it. I thin "Catch Me In The Air" was just a personal favorite of hers since it was about her mom and this was her first headlining tour in the states

I would welcome that because I happen to love the heavy stuff she's done and have been digging a lot of what Poppy has done....

BUT

Apparently people on r/popheads are saying it sounds like 2011 Gaga and is super poppy

Eh, the thing that gives lady gaga a pass for her terrible terrible music is her sheer charisma tbh. Not sure that direction is gonna gel with me either
