This one is full of catchy tunes, weirdly mixed with some bittersweet melancholia due to memories of the lockdown. Not much originality unless you count their 80s sound-approach as "experimentation", but who cares? Easily my 2nd favorite from them, I'd almost say it ties with their RECORD.

Thanks Camilo, gabba pretty sure the writing and recording of this record was finished months before the pandemic hit. I agree completely otherwise

Yeah, I though so, and the pandemic is not directly reflected in the music/lyrics, as far as I can tell. However, due to Pavlovian associations, some songs just bring back the memories of lockdown-days, and I think it actually makes the experience richer.

been listening to a few of these tracks and they sound very nostalgic. not because it was 4 years ago but because the music is just so cozy and nice.
