Tbh I think Tuomas got bored of heavy music, both latest Auri and the Scrooge album were way more interesting than this and had nothing to do with metal.

I think they can come back from this. It was an experiment that wasn't a total failure, and it sounds like they've got it out of their systems. Besides, personally I've never loved any of their studio albums. Live is where they shine.
Edit: Showtime, Storytime and End of an Era are the only Nightwish albums I Listen to.

Noise and Shoemaker are really good, and different from the band's normal sound. The rest of disc 1 isn't as good. In my world, there isn't a disc 2 on this album.
