"it already is cheq Trespasser"

I meant as a whole. There are too many bands that are just so so and the rare great record. I want it to be on the level of quantity and quality that the non-rabm stuff is. I really enjoy the one Trespasser LP I've heard. I should definitely peep more of their stuff.

bc early darkthrone is cookie cutter bandwagon bm it has no personality fenriz is an opportunist and thus it gets the most basic rating

blaze only exists bc euronymous told fenriz about bm

all the other original kvlt had bm demos recorded darkthrone only has the first lp (by a couple weeks at most) bc they already had studio experience and a record deal from their previous purely dm ventures, not to mention the lack of interest in suicide, murder, and church burning

none of which detracts from the fact darkthrone bandwagoned on the idea and ran with it concluding in the standard for basic bm

im not saying its bad in any way or that they dont get credit for solidifying that sound but i dont rate them highly bc its simply not as interesting as what everyone else they took inspiration from was doing

Blaze has RIFFS, which is basically the entire appeal of those 1st & early 2nd wave records, or even most bm in general. Not sure what something like Mayhem's Deathcrush EP has over it. And Darkthrone are honestly the cream of the crop of those Norwegian bands to me.
