I appreciate the sentiment behind the message and intention of the band, but the name REALLY comes across as more parody which is only slightly annoying to me and my sense of aesthetics

Anyway jamming now and the music is actually pretty good. Not groundbreaking bm but who gives a fuck, the riffs band and the drums are surprisingly punchy

Watch this, but imagine whatever he says for that movie is actually directed to this album. It's a great analogy when parody bands like that come and go in metal, along with the discussions and debates around them.

Album's just ok musically, I think the vocals are a bit too high in the mix though.

I skimped over some parts of the album on youtube

seems to be decent, will give it a proper listen later. Liking the folky parts, the vocals and the low fi production
