This is easily my faviourite thing from this year. Only complaint is the opening track is a tad long for an intro instrumental. Its a probably 4.5 but atm a 5 for me just because of how this is hitting all the right notes for me

I could live without the instrumental opener tbqh....
"MY KINGDOM FOR THE AVALAAAAANCHE, CALL MEEE, SAAAAAANAAAAANDAAAAAA" floydish solo - toolish transition
|

Ten seconds into that intro track got me to smile like an idiot.

Sananda is gorgeous. Ive been digging Celestial dictator a lot recently.
"Fetch me the godless and drag him to my church"
|

They are like some post metal, aliceinchainian, toolesque bastard spawn that came out of nowhere.
(Not saying Belgium is nowhere... you know what I mean *wink* *wink*)

LMAO
They literally say they re coming out of nowhere in their bandcamp
"PSYCHONAUT literally came from out of nowhere --Mechelen, Belgium, to be precise-- but their debut album Unfold The God Man showcases truly world class musicianship and songwriting abilities, heavily influenced by 70’s bands like Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, but also drawing inspiration from contemporary heavy artists like Tool or Amenra."

haha the company I'm working for has a warehouse in Mechelen, need to visit for negotiations most likely

tbh Mechelen is the middle of nowhere, even in Belgium
apart from warehouses - hello Ray - there's basically nothing
|

Glad I didn't insult anyone then.

I've heard the album a couple of times and it's indeed a good jam.
Nice write-up, as usual.
