Honestly Dutch isn't strange sounding, as much as it's just not particularly phonetically appealing.

We do not have a beautiful landscape, our food is disgusting, and even our porn is lame.

But then we totally redeem ourselves, with this fine piece of black metal.

@Azog All porn is fairly lame, obscene nonsense, generally, regardless of its national origin.

However, our language is needlessly elaborate, our holidays are corny et cetera. Besides, the vast majority of our mayor bands/artists are pretty lame.

Then again, if the Dutch metal scene flourishes at least we do have that.

Not into the genre, but Holland is doing pretty well in the metalscene (except for fucking Textures disbanding, ugh, fucking losers)

Honestly, Pestilence really did release some great records. Textures splitting up was unfortunate, especially considering how much recognition that band was getting.

P.S. @Parksungjoon You know I'm right about the porn stuff, even if you're not willing to admit it.

Somehow i only skipped around to the typical black metal parts in my first browse of the album. Glad i gave it a real listen anyway, because it's got some good variety of rhythm and melody.

It's not so much hate as an ubiquitous lack of pride. But it's complex. We are proud. But we don't know how to show that in a natural manner.
