Those two are my least favorite. Blue Shedding and Geography are my favorite, but The Ferryman is awesome as well.
Like the soundoff says: Toby Driver>Everyone.

I actually just remembered that I tried listening to maudlin of the Well and Kayo Dot months and months ago, but didn't totally get it back then. So glad I gave them another shot.
This album is another OK Computer experience for me - once I got OKC, it opened my eyes to so much more music. motW have opened my eyes in new ways. The intensity of the lyrics is just... jeez. This has inspired me to write again.
Oh... oh my... oh my god... This album is INCREDIBLE. This completely destroys my previous notions of epic and mind-blowing music, and redefines the heights of beauty. A stunning album in every way. Thanks for reviewing this - I can't believe I've been missing out all these years.
Choirs of the Eye is better.

I like them equally. Also I just looked and the only album in front of this for best album of 2001 is Opeth's Blackwater Park. If that isn't a perfect example of Opeth's inflated ratings, I don't know what is. Bath is as profound as Blackwater Park only wishes it could be.

I like this better. It's also easier to just listen to. When I want to listen to Choirs of the Eye, I have to plan it.

So when you randomly want to listen to that album, you plan it?

I disagree, 711, with Choirs, I can listen to it anytime, but to each his own I guess. The only reason I think Choirs is better is because it's consistently superb, whereas here there are some tracks that are less impressive.

I usually plan when I listen to a Toby Driver album because I always try to listen to the whole thing at a time, haha. However they're some songs like Geography that I'll listen to whenever I feel like it.

Dowsing Anemone With Copper Tongue is probably Toby's best behind Bath.

I have to set aside some time to listen to it is what I meant.

So, having downloaded this (will buy it as soon as I see it in a store), I have this to say:
How the hell do you find the inspiration to create such a masterpiece? It's not like other music where I can truthfully say that I can write a riff/melody that good, this is so unique. I cannot imagine creating something like this, everything is perfect, just... wow.
