I'm listening to this in short bursts during micro-breaks from working (I'm sure the band will be happy that this is being listened to juuuust as they intended). I'm intrigued... find the vocals pretty hit and miss. Wouldn't mind if this was instrumental.

The vocals are the weakest part of the band. Drumming used to be very good but not on this album.

@SowingSeason, I'm not entirely sure whether that statement is entirely correct, although they're certainly very good. Moreover, they are absolutely one of the better post-metal outfits of the past decade.

Just my opinion. Valley of Smoke is amazing, and the two after it are excellent too so they’re at least one of the most consistently high quality.
