Great review, summed it up well. This album was impressively boring. About half way through I was more so waiting for it to be over than getting any enjoyment out of listening to it.

the first 2 albums were DC classics, the black cron as really enjoyable (even hinting at Nu influences thenb) but everything since mitch's death has honestly dragged my fond memories of this band through the mud for me

decided to relisten to this and man, maybe it's just me but
the lyrics here really do have this, uh, "eddie is definitely a pedophile perspective and these lyrics most definitely sound like some internal projection" type of feel. In hiding, love me to death, skin tight, the scythe hell even the album title give off that vibe
