Oh no, I'm not comparing it with this, just mentioning a Green Day album from the post-American Idiot era that has plenty of good songs and plenty of bad ones as well.

Tried to listen to this again and turned it off. It's not that it's that bad, it just feels like a waste of my time when I could be listening to anything else with more balls than this.

I used to think this wasn't that bad but the more I listened and thought about it the more offensive it got. Now I hate it with a passion.

Never in my life would I think that I would ever call a Green Day album shit. The 2012 albums Uno, Dos and Tre (Trilogy further on) were really bad. But even Trilogy seems like a masterpiece compared to this utter piece of crap. Because while the Trilogy was at least trying to deliver something listenable (and managed to do on "Oh Love"), this albums fails to deliver, and I'm not even sure, if it's trying.
I'm unable to just slightly like any of the songs. Everything, that can be wrong here, is. From the album cover that desecrates American Idiot artwork, to overuse of falsetto and clapping, to dumb song titles ("I Was a Teenage Teenager" - what the hell is that?), this album is a disaster. If Green Day purposely made a horrible album, just so they could get out of their Reprise/Warner label contract (as some claim), they could have at least not promote it as a genuine effort, but rather warn people - "Hey guys, we only made this record so that we can get out from the label, and we didn't put much thoughts in it, so you don't have to listen to it, because it's deliberately a crap." - or something. That way, even if it wouldn't make it any less awful, I'd rate it 1.5. But no, instead, they came with this slogan: "No features. No Swedish songwriters. No trap beats. 100% uncut rock." More like: "No substance. No good songwriting. 100% pure crap.". Even 1.0 rating is too high for that.
And the most cringe worthy moment comes with the song "Oh Yeah". The song is terrible on its own already, but one this makes it even worse - and that's the sampling of Gary Glitter's song "Do You Wanna Touch Me?". Now, even if it's Joan Jett's version, not Glitter's own, that was sampled, and even if money from this single's sales is given to an anti-sexual assault organization, I am still unable to understand - why the fuck would you even sample a song written (and originally performed) by such an asshole in the first place?
I'll just pretend that this failure of an album doesn't exist.

I like rating albums but I can't even find the worth to listen to this album to rate it.

enjoyed them playing the title track on Howard Stern. Armstrong said the song was somewhat about that fact that they were all born into poor families and poor themselves and now they're millionaires and they feel like impostors. Interesting notion and I genuinely enjoyed the performance, but I can't get over the fact that ever song sounds like music made for 15-30 second ads for shit

How does this have a LOWER overall ranking than !Dos! ? :O
*Changes mind about listening to album*

This wasn't even that bad, just kinda boring past track one or so. its in my bottom 5 of the year solely because I have been avoiding the really easy targets of hate.

career suicide for bands is flimsily rehashing old album covers bc they literally couldn't think of anything else to present their art with
makes me convinced that this is a novelty record

It kind of is actually. Green Day was trolling to get out of their contract, it's plain to see. Either Billie Joe has legitimately lost it (look at those promotional statements...) or it's a giant ruse. My money's on ruse.

Funny that pop punk bands has been in all positions in their evolution
Blink: Started great, it is going downfall since losing Tom
Yellowcard: They made probably the greatest album of their career, they decide to break up
Offspring: They have stayed in a "meh" position since early 00's

Yeah, this is as bad as that new rosenstock album
