@whoever said “you like errorzone but this is that but better”. No it’s not. Errorzone is a consistent album. Also the cleans on errorzone are sparsely used and much more enjoyable than this.

Sounds like Deftones soft dreamy bits mixed with heavier than Deftones heavy bits with harsher than chino vox.

I think the review nails it but I grew up on BTBAM so random song transitions are fine in my book.

Nah, the harsh vocals are heavier than Chino’s, there are blast beats on a couple tracks and the tone on the chugs is so heavy, especially on the title track, no way is ATF heavier than this at its heaviest... maybe more consistently heavy as this is more varied?

You're probably right

This time, but I don't want to listen

You're probably right

This time, but I don't even care

And if it was mine to say

I wouldn't say it

And if it was mine to say

I wouldn't speak

just put this on and I feel like these guys are trying waaaaay too hard, there is just no middle. like already stated in the really nice review. maybe a little too long imo, but that's just me not liking track by tracks and being too precise

Decent critique...all I can say is that it holds on further listens instead of getting old. I also got kind of mad at it on first few listens...once I let go and only enjoy the songs, I found it very enjoyable...

I'm surprised Pitchfork actually liked this though the fact that they compared this to Deafheaven within the first paragraph it shouldn't be too big of surprise.
