Probably gonna lower my rating. I wanted to like this much more but this kind of sits at a 3.2-3.3 for me. The instrumentals on a majority of the tracks are bangers, the "Code Orange meets Meshuggah meets every shoegaze-y Deftones song" sound prevents it from getting boring, and the production is top notch.
But the weaker cuts don't stick in my head and the clean vocals lack any sort of impact or emotion. The harsh vocals are good but aren't enough to make up for the lazy singing.

I’d agree that the singing is lazy. It seemed like the vocalist just tried the same thing on every song! Other than a couple decent parts it’s all one boring flavour.

I understand what you mean and I enjoy lots of the melancholic shoe-gazy singing from other bands. But I mean lazy in a sense of it feels unimaginative and repetitive.
