Top 5 in order: A Sad Cartoon, Screaming, T/T, Heavy Is The Head, Is It Really You? Two Way Mirror and Aggressive Evolution are close, but fall slightly short for me.

Glad that Steak and the rest of you are vibing with these guys. I've been following them since their early singles off of The Cold Sun leaked. They are probably my favorite 'modern metalcore' band. Humorously enough, only after two albums they've outgrown those tags.

Yeah they’ve cemented a spot as my favorite metalcore band with this one. Favorites are probably title track, A Sad Cartoon, Screaming, and Broken Vision Rhythm. Though imo there’s not a weak track on here except maybe Red Room.

This will do for my Chino fix, and tbh sounds like this could for great for workouts too. Sits somewhere between a 3.5 and 4, leaning to the latter

It holds on further listens and gets better, against my predictions.

Is it true that the new Deftones drops in April though? Someone wrote in the Gore thread that some band member (maybe Abe or Frank?) basically confirmed it

Apparently, but it's also always the same dude that says its going to be the heaviest Deftones album ever XD

Yeah i don't really care about heavyness in relation to Deftones, just give me good songs and decent production. I wouldn't mind something like Poltergeist though hehe

A Sad Cartoon is probably the best new song I've heard in a long, long time.
