Just some tidbits: Complicated, Blue World, I Can See and Everybody were individual songs from outside of Mac Miller's Circles project that the family gave to Jon Brion. Mac intended to have a third album follow up Circles which was a more pure hip-hop album.
Cool interview with more into the production of the album and how it came to be:
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/01/20/arts/music/mac-miller-jon-brion-circles.html
Speculative tidbits: I read somewhere Circles had intended to be released 90 days after Swimming however I'm not finding the quote so I won't include it with the facts above. Before Swimming's release Mac came with two singles not included on either released album, Buttons and Programs. Whether they're only to promote or meant to be on that third album, who knows.

@Zeiu that was a great interview, albeit kinda brutal. especially hurts finding out he'd planned a trilogy and laid out plans for a few years ahead. goddamnit
also those songs weren't outside the Circles project, if I'm understanding right, just songs Mac was working Brion hadn't heard yet. everything here was recorded for Circles afaik
Brion seems to be saying there's Ariana vocals on I Can See, which is a spicy tidbit
"hi roawn"
hey :3

As someone who never enjoyed Mac's work in the past, would this still be worth listening to?
