Great review, though I think I kinda enjoyed this. Yes its bitter and yes it's too long and yes it doesnt come close to reaching the bar set by his older records (or kamazaki, for that matter), but it's still a fun ride if you dont take it too seriously. There are some genuinely fantastic laugh out loud lines in here (laughing with Em, not at him ... though there are some of those too), and he is actually successful for the first time in a while when he attempts a serious track on Darkness.

MMLP2 has a few really good songs, better than most of his recent output.

Bad Guy, Brainless, Evil Twin, Love Game and Headlights are all really good tracks.

the only good thing about an artist releasing an awful record is that the record after that will always look great even if it's mediocre

by the way it's petty but I always hated this guys name, makes me think about m&m's and the Sputnik user ''Emim''

Which happened to Kamikaze, Which looked alot better than it actually was. This album is much better than kamikaze imo

Fun fact Eminem originally went by "m&m" because they matched his initials"

The album is ok to me. I feel like there is a good album somewhere in here though if he just cut it down a bit

Honestly, I think it’s his best since Relapse. But, it’s not great by any stretch and I think I agree with one of the first points: if it was 8-10 tracks instead of 20, it’d be a much better product.

Side note: I know he will never let go of his homophobia, but man I wish he could at least leave it off the albums. Like, we get it, you’re not a fan of the LBGTQ+ community. It’s just an old trope at this stage.

Unless I missed something, I think this is the actually the first album where he didn’t use any homophobic slurs

Biggest problem here is the length, no doubt. Had this been as long as kamikaze and more focused tonally, it could have been his best in a long time
