"Everything about this notagenius guy screams over-elaborate troll alt"
hehe, let me bring you all the useless knowledge and forever stir the pot in a wordy way... ho ho ho
just to say babymetal is not gimmick, real j pop got adapted for western music, and I find it interesting that this album got influenced by babymetal. it is like seeing some cultural diplomacy.

“I am only into it 'for the bangers'. It goes the same for any music I listen to...“
Your av couldn’t have been more appropriate for this Willie

Whether any given band is good or not is always debatable based on music tastes. No arguments there.
Well, exactly. Which is why this isn't a very convincing dismissal lol;
The question is, Who cares? As long as it's good.

backstory definitely has the potential to alter my perspective tbh. it's all context, and context can help elevate, make sense of, or deconstruct music. depends on the artist and the music.

Agreed hard. Sometimes I think it'd be easier to take music as it comes, but it'd feel like scratching the surfaced given how great a bearing foundations and context have on what comes out your speakers

This project is dead, as far as I know she is no longer working with Titanic Sinclair. Suprised to see this came out at all.

Nah.
Sumerian aren’t likely to let go of an interesting oddity like Poppy. I imagine the legal bump in the road over creative license is incoming, but Sinclair’s facing a fair few accusations that he probably wants to quickly go away.

Moriah doesn't seem like she has an idea of what to do with herself. Wasn't Titanic behind most of Poppy's stuff? It was his second take at Mars Argo lmfao

“Moriah doesn't seem like she has an idea of what to do with herself.”
She’s got a 36 date tour lined up, it’s not like she’s not going to be busy for a while, plenty of time to figure out where to go next.
Poppy is what people are focused on, Sinclair probably realised a long time ago people cared a lot more about Poppy and gave little shit about him.

Titanic is shit so I am glad to see him go. On the other hand, I will not be surprised if this ends up the same way as Alice Glass' solo career. Very curious to find out in the future. Maybe I will get surprised.

I can literally picture ash avildsen in the studio just jerking himself off listening back to these tracks going “I’m a genius I’m a genius I’m a genius I’m a genius I’m a genius”
