"Bro I cannot with the third one, they tried to do too much with it imo and controlling that penguin makes me want to shut the game off lmao. The Spyro portions are still very good tho
"
they mostly fixed this on the remaster. Two is objectively the best, but I still much prefer 3 to 1.

I've played the reignited version of 3 and I still don't really enjoy it as much, I'll give it another shot but idk it might just not be for me. I hold 2 on such a high pedestal, and 1 isn't far off from it

I remember people being upset the games were TOO easy now thanks to the updated controls. 2 would be my favorite if it had one more hub world, it feels a bit short when compared against the other two games.
Also best reward for 100%ing the game game though.

2 has like the best hub world ever tho in Autumn Plains

2 is too easy and too short, but it's perfect other than that. 1 just doesn't have enough variety to keep me interested, I Really love helping out NPCs in the 2nd and 3rd game. 1 all the boss levels and flight levels suck ass, idk I feel like people only love that one because it's the first one most people played. Series for me is the same as Ratchet and Clank where they made huge leaps and bounds between 1 and 2

I love 1's world and monster designs and the music is always enchanting. Dream weavers and the magic world are my faves from that game. Agree on the flight world's being ass but I don't like those in any of the games tbf. And even adding the hover to 1 reignited would be cool. Each game does its own thing though and i like them all. I'm wondering what activision are going to do now with the series since they've run out of *good* material to recreate.

Well judging by the way they talked at their big like accounts statement thing I few months ago with Destiny franchise leaving Activision they were talking about their own franchises going forward and both Spyro & Crash were mentioned as big titles in the same breath as like Call of Duty, so I think they take it seriously. Wouldn't be surprised to see a new standalone Crash game either later this year or sometime next year, I hope whenever they do a full Spyro game that they get Stewart Copeland on to be composer would be so cool

second favorite spyro game in the franchise behind the third one
