Yeah they seem like funny guys. Great interview bro. I love how they gave a shoutout to Defeated Sanity. I bought a shirt from Paul and chatted with him for a bit. Nice dude.

OWhoadYo, what a coincidence that I live in buffalo lol. Wish I would have known about those bands then, I only recently discovered them.

Thanks for reading - yeah Paul was super cool and talkative. Surreal experience getting to chat with them. even got a pic with them.

@Thranth, that's cool you live in Buffalo as well! It was at Mohawk Place, which is a fairly small venue as you know, so it was the PERFECT atmosphere for both bands. Fun little Buffalo fact/trivia too, as I'm sure you're a Cannibal Corpse fan, Cannibal Corpse wrote the entirety of The Bleeding in Room D in Music Mall in Cheektowaga, which is still in use today by at least 30 bands or so. My band practices in room E in Music Mall, right across the hall from Corpse's room D. Absolutely insane lol They talk about it in a documentary on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGPot3rP53o - skip to 1:27:30. The building looks exactly the same to this day

That's really cool actually, Buffalo born and raised! I knew that Webster was from Akron but that was about the extent of that. Been looking to join a band for a while but I've had trouble finding people in the area.

There are a TON of great metal concerts around here. One of my fav's was CC and Morbid last year at the town ballroom.

I am right next to Darien lake as well so I get a lot of fantastic bands only a 10 minute drive away.

Yeah! It's like every time we go to practice, I can feel the energy of The Bleeding. A piece of music history made just 10ft away from where we rehearse. Kind of inspires you to keep going, or something like that. Even though the music we play is nothing like CC - we are a indie rock/dream pop band lol.

Ad no way, you were at the Morbid and CC show at Ballroom, too? Nice! that was a pretty damn good show. And I saw the Smashing Pumpkins at Darien last summer, great show. Got hammered lol And I'm actually from Salamanca, NY if you're familiar with it. Small town about an hour south of Buffalo. I went to school at the University at Buffalo and recently graduated in May. Living back down in Salamanca now, but have been looking for work in Buffalo so I can move back up there. Been difficult with Coronavirus, though.

Weird to think we are the only generation to grow up with these sites before they became so ...corporate. Censoring, a fuck ton of advertising/sponsorships and all the politics involved.

True. Also I don't know how internet ads works. I never met anyone who bought anything because of an algorithmically tailored ad. Well I guess the kids fall for that shit?

I'm kinda waiting for the day where I get an ad that makes me want to spend money.

Still cannot believe these guys had over 200,000 monthly listeners on Spotify at one point. That's absolutely unheard of for a death metal band.
