Expecting that to be solid, albeit completely unremarkable

Did you listen to Fen's previous release, Winter?

Solid, but underwhelming to be honest.

Very controversial. Winter and Carrion Skies are amazing as far as second-wave bm goes.

We can't all think the same. How boring would that be?

This album is sounding absolutely brilliant so far. Hitting much harder than EOD for me on initial impression. This band is so good.

@dedex

The headliners are...not really all that headliner material
I mean, I love Maiden and Priest, but I've seen Maiden about 8 times now and Priest about 5 times. I'd say Maiden is a legit headliner, but Priest is sub-headliner at most. Always fun live tho. FNM will probably play about 3 songs at most from the Real Thing-Angel Dust days (the only albums I love from them) and they're sub-headliner at most as well. I don't care all that much for Aerosmith, but lots of radio rock people will probably come out of the woodwork for them.

Then again, I don't really care all that much for the headliners in general. There's plenty of Marquee stuff on the line up already that I do love so I'm good to go

Easy top tier rating upon first listen. This is at least on par with Tekeli-Li imo.

Bands like this one keeps you guessing what's coming next. These guys are adventurous in their compositions and their execution is bang on point. This might be their best outing yet.
