and yeah, the new episodes aren't as good, but we all run out of ideas sooner or later...right?

I used to love this show...then I realized it sucked.

SpongeBob is awesome, but not gay. He's an optimist. Pretty over-happy like Eddie in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy but it beats being depressed or gay. And "Goofy Goober Rock" actually comes from Twisted Sister's "I Wanna Rock." Props to SpongeBob for promoting Twisted Sister.

God I hate Spongebob with an undying passion.

Optimist - Yay things will get better
Gay - Uh I love other male sponges
I want to hear this too. So many things for me to listen to...This Message Edited On 07.13.06

It scares me that an entire review was written for an animated movie , but good review, anyway. I used to like Spongebob, but wtf happened? I think it's half sense I'm older than I was in '02, and half because it sucks like **** now. The movie was decent though. This Message Edited On 07.13.06This Message Edited On 07.13.06

The King of Germany himself graced the movie with his pexyness!
|

Rocko pwns all other Nicktoons. And he might have killed all the first born sons, as well. Again, I like this review.

Really, I only got this for the Wilco song, which is a pretty cute diddy by one of my favorite bands. The Flaming Lips song is weird, but I don't think it's quite the quality of the Flaming Lips if you know what I mean? I also like Tom Rothrock's contribution and the Jellyfish song, which I think was recorded at a slower tempo then sped up later.
There are a lot of tracks that are just Godawful. Like the theme. Ew. And, honestly, I'm not a big fan of Motorhead--I have nothing against them but just not my thing I suppose.
It's all right. A couple good songs and couple average ones, and a few dirt terrible ones. I think.
Invader Zim will always be the best animated show to have ever graced Nickelodeon's schedule. Either that or Rocko. Depends what mood I'm in.
Amen.
Nice review.

Yeah, there are some real crap songs on this album, but I rated this so highly just because I do like most of the songs, but because I find that this could be somewhat of a "gateway drug" (of music, not drugs) to a younger audience. More kids need to be listening to bands like Wilco, The Flaming Lips, and Ween, in my opinion. (Oops, can't forget Motorhead)This Message Edited On 08.15.06

For your information.
Angry Beavers > Spongebob > Rocko's Modern Life > All.
But then again, I havn't seen Invader Zim.
Cool review, this would have to rank up there with Illu's review of Kidz Bop on the 'Who would've thought it would get reviewed?' list.
