This is way better than the RZA or GZA debuts. Hell, I'd say it's better than ODB's and Deck's debuts as well.

jammed this today after not listening to it for a while and am pretty disappointed i ever took it off my ipod. i love the dark brooding atmosphere of the record and mza's usually on point lyrically. mr. sandman is prob my favorite track. what makes this album more amazing is the fact he lost most his original work in a basement flood and had to record most of these songs within very short notice. if these songs were good i can only imagine what the original songs were like. anyway, i love this album. 3.8/5

Production is top notch, especially the title track. Kinda dips in quality somewhere in the middle though.

Early 90's RZA crafted some of the finest beats ever nig

think I prefer this to Cuban Linx

Ah I thought you meant RZA's production in general, never listened to his solo albums before

RZAs solo stuff reallllly grows, id put him third as an emcee behind GZA and Method Man personally. I
would give RZA more spins and/or listen while reading the lyrics. I know what you mean though at first
his music just sounds awkward and not very catchy at all but I think the key is keeping up with his
lyrics

Throwback album. Fuck yeah I forgot how good Meth is. He's still killing it 20 years later. Can't wait for the new Wu-Tang.
