this one is really fun to listen to and consistent as hell. Love the melo death riffing and joe is a beast on vocals. favorite deathcoreband, only one in that genre that sparks somewhat of emotion next to whitechapel other than just beating you to death

Jesus I just watched one of their live sets on Youtube and they're absolutely flawless. Joe sounds exactly like the album and his cleans are practically perfect. Respect.

and iirc, will putney (who is imo one of the best metal music producers) is a guitarist in this band too. what a fucking crazy line-up

New track slaps, glad to be getting new material from these guys. I got a lot of replay out of this album.

side note - I've noticed a lot of people don't realize that this whole project is Will Putney's baby. he writes all the songs AND all of the lyrics, then produces it and sends the dudes on tour to carry out his vision. it's an interesting dynamic. obv every member is very talented and puts their stamp on the recordings and especially the live show, but he is 100% the creative force of this band

woah that is crazy

seriously. I think the weirdest part to me is that he doesn't tour with his band. In interviews he's said it's because he's too busy producing other albums, which makes sense. dude's fingerprints are on a ton of great albums these days

I don’t understand why he doesn’t tour with FFAA. He just played with END yesterday at Furnace Fest

Maybe I could ask Joe or Tim that whenever I get the chance, I used to play video games with them a while back.

"this whole project is Will Putney's baby."
So he's basically Nolly but for this band. Obviously, Nolly doesn't write most of Periphery music, but he mixes it, so it's a similar dynamic to here.

Putney is an absolute unit in the music scene. Great producer and a great guitarist/songwriter. Lotta respect for that dude.

yeah, no idea why Will plays live with END and not FFAA - maybe because these guys maintain a more rigorous tour schedule out for months at a time? or maybe since he's basically got 2 full-time guitarists already in the band and if he occasionally toured, one would be out a job? idk
and yeah, Joe is awesome. his barbershop is actually like 40 min from where I live, been thinking about snagging a cut from him just so I can say hi and shoot the shit for a minute, ha
