I think the narrative that Einar is stealing the reigns / spotlight from the band has to be blown way out of proportion. After seeing them live (admittedly a couple years ago) they seem like the tightest band ever where everyone has their own space, Einar had an equal stage presence to the rest of the band members bar maybe the drummer. If this has changed we'll see when they tour this.

if my favorite metal bands could stop not being metal anymore, that'd be great.

My interest in a new Leprous release has steadily decreased with each release unfortunately.

Will probably still check this out when it's on Spotify, but my expectations are low

You're all pessimistic as fuck, album's gonna rule just like everything else they've done.

Leprous peaked at The Congregation, now they are pulling an Opeth on us.

Opeth are trying to be a shitty Porcupine Tree reunion though, at least Leprous are trying to be unique.

Ok, time to listen to this, and then Alcest. Opeth are trying to be Mike's masturbatory fantasy now, featuring SW.

@Laen: Einar is definitely taking the spotlight, and that has increased with every album after Bilateral. He's always been the most dominant presence, but it's gone to a whole new level now
