Neat write up, will give it a go based on a sandwich seal of approval

Sort of jk, I thought their last one was surprisingly strong

this is even more 'to the point' and sharp, they've not brought back the lo-fi scuzz production and they are better for it imo

also this one is about as varied as you could get with the LB formula

Love it! Great follow up to Fantasy Empire imo.

it's more consistent than Fantasy Empire - nearly every song here is as strong/stronger than The Metal East, Mythmaster or Horsepower etc.

Yeah I get what you are saying dude, I did really liked the almost metal edge on fantasy empire though.

I guess this rips up some classic rock, in an almost joke'y way at times - rather than metal

Yeah you are absolutely right and the hooks really goes well with it. Lightning Bolt have always evolved naturally with just enough new stuff trown into the mix each time for me anyway

i was confused as to why all three singles were right next to each other. but when Big Banger came in i realized i had over half an album left of unheard, fantastic material. that made me happy

i'd hesitate to say some of this album goes stronger than mythmaster. that song is fucking amazing and it's hard to top. but it comes DAMN near close

how
they're so canned and distant and repetitive and tonally unexciting
maybe they'll grow on me but that's the only thing holding the record down for me atm

I find the vocals a bit Scooter-y

I sense an imminent repeat of the Jerome's Dream thread argument :O
