2019 has been less than a fave for me, new Cave gets my pick by default through being the only full-length I have rated above a 4. Got a few 4s that I dig hard enough to rep in a decent midsection of a top 10 (Points, Morbid Stuff, First Body), but the top is looking a little narrow atm. Many of the albums that have most impressed me (Arrival, Itekoma Hits, Omoiyari, Saijiki) are in "like and highly respect but not quite love" territory, and I guess that goes for this too....



On the bright side all this incentivises me towards finding more favourites, so this will defo be getting some more attention ;]

Cave is top 5 for me and a high 4.5 rating (have it on 92% on AOTY) so I respect that pick.

I dunno man, this year rules in my book. I have a compilation, an EP, and an album at a 5.0, plus a ton of 4.5s. Either I got soft this year or it kicks major ass.
